Information: The Leftovers

Age: 26 (but acts like he's early 20s at the most)
Birthday: July 20
Gender: Slightly genderfluid. He likes going around as a girl sometimes, frilly skirt and all.
Powers: Matt can manipulate technology like no one's business. He's supernaturally good with robotics, mechanics, and anything to do with computers. He doesn't realize that this is a power-as-such, so when asked, he'll claim that he's a normal guy.

Background: Matt is originally from New Mexico, near Albequerque. His grandfather worked on the Manhattan project, and both of his parents were professors at the University of New Mexico.
He had a fairly normal life, growing up a nerdy science kid, going to college on his own, and then coming back to town, to teach physics at the same school as his parents, and work with the robotics team. When everyone disappeared, his sister and mother were gone, and his father died trying to help some of the students out of the chaos. From there, he just drifted, fixing things for people for a bit of money here and there, eventually ending up where he now is, just as lost as before, but now without family or anything familiar to fall back on.
... well, other than his sister's derpy dog, who won't leave him along.

Personality: Matt is one of those people who makes light of everything to mask his own insecurities. He tries to find the good side of everyone and everything, and encourages people to be better versions of themselves.
At his core, however, he's insecure, especially since the disapperences. He's never really known what to do with himeself, and being faced with the end of the world or, whatever just happened, is not helping. He's determined to make the best of it, however.
